INNOCEAN India, in collaboration with Canvas Worldwide India, has won the integrated communications mandate for UPES University, marking the start of a long-term partnership focused on cohesive brand-building in the higher education sector.

Under the engagement, INNOCEAN India will lead creative and strategic communications, while Canvas Worldwide India will oversee integrated media strategy and execution across brand and campaign initiatives. The agencies will operate through a unified model aligning strategy, creative development and media delivery, with the initial phase centred on shaping an integrated campaign framework for 2026.

The mandate strengthens INNOCEAN India’s growth business beyond automotive, supported by its non-automotive vertical that services brands such as Hamdard, Sony, KEI Cables and IFFCO Tokio, alongside Canvas Worldwide India for media-led transformation.

Commenting on the appointment, Bharat Kharbanda, Chief Business Officer, GUS Global Services, said the university sought a partner capable of bringing structure and integration to its evolving communication needs. Robinh Sharma, Marketing Director, UPES University, added that the integrated approach will help sharpen and amplify UPES’ differentiation as it looks ahead to 2026.

Jae Ho Yoo, Managing Director & CEO, INNOCEAN India, said the mandate aligns with the agency’s strategy to expand its growth business and deliver insight-led, measurable impact. Santosh Kumar, Chief Operating Officer, INNOCEAN India, noted that the partnership aims to move beyond siloed delivery to a fully integrated planning and execution model.

The collaboration brings together UPES University’s evolving communication requirements with INNOCEAN India and Canvas Worldwide India’s integrated capabilities to support long-term brand growth.
