Bank of America has named David Beckham as the ambassador for its global sports program, Sports with Us, aimed at boosting community participation and expanding the bank’s presence across major sporting events worldwide. Beckham will help elevate the bank’s engagement across football, endurance events and golf, while supporting its broader social impact and youth-focused initiatives.

The program builds on Bank of America’s long-standing partnerships with global sporting properties, including the FIFA World Cup 26, the Boston and Chicago Marathons, and the Masters Tournament. Designed to use large-scale events as catalysts for community development, Sports with Us focuses on participation, economic contribution and social upliftment.

Beckham highlighted the transformative nature of sports, saying, “Sport has the power to bring people together… I am proud to partner with Bank of America to extend this work and use my platform to shine a light on their impactful Sports with Us programming.”

David Tyrie, president, marketing, digital and specialised consumer client solutions at Bank of America, noted that Beckham’s commitment to community and youth aligns with the bank’s mission: “He shares our drive to connect and empower people through sport. With his support, we’ll accelerate change and invest where it matters most.”

Beyond major events, the bank also runs Sports with Us youth clinics with professional athletes, helping children build both sporting and life skills. Its endurance partnerships generated an estimated $1.1 billion in economic impact in 2025, along with $90 million raised for partner causes.

Authentic Brands Group, which manages Beckham’s brand, will oversee the collaboration and support event execution through Authentic Live.
