EBG Group has named actor Mrunal Thakur as the brand ambassador for Carlton Wellness, its dedicated wellness and hospitality vertical, as the company sets ambitious plans to scale its presence across India. The partnership will roll out from FY 2025–26, with Thakur leading brand films, digital campaigns, experiential activations and new property launches as Carlton expands into spas, retreats and wellness-led real estate.

Carlton Wellness is being built as an integrated ecosystem covering destination retreats, wellness resorts, city and hotel spa formats, and wellness-oriented vacation homes and residences. The offerings combine Ayurveda, naturopathy, mindfulness practices, hydrotherapy and modern preventive-care programmes tailored to Indian lifestyles.
The company is already operational through select licensed spa projects and has multiple flagship retreats in advanced development stages in Ahmedabad, Indore and Manipal. Expansion plans also include Hyderabad, Bhubaneswar, Surat, Lucknow, Bengaluru and additional markets across Maharashtra, Goa, Kerala, Rajasthan, Uttarakhand and NCR.
With this nationwide rollout, Carlton Wellness projects revenues of Rs 80–120 crore in FY 2025–26, targeting a scale-up to Rs 180–250 crore by FY 2026–27. Growth will be driven by spa operations, memberships, retreats, managed wellness residences, licensing agreements and customised wellness programmes.
