Anand Rathi Group has elevated Devang Mehta to the role of Chief Marketing Officer, a milestone he announced on LinkedIn, calling it the fulfilment of a long-standing professional aspiration.
In this expanded role, Mehta will oversee the Group’s marketing strategy across all business units, focusing on strengthening brand presence, accelerating digital initiatives, and deepening engagement with India’s growing investor community. His promotion comes at a time when the Group is rapidly scaling its wealth management, advisory, and capital markets businesses.
Mehta has been instrumental in building and shaping the Group’s marketing engine over the past six years, having developed tools, processes, and systems tailored specifically to the organisation’s values and growth ambitions. His contribution spans brand-building, digital communication, and integrated marketing programs that have supported the Group’s rise across stock broking, NBFC, wealth, and insurance segments.
Reflecting on his journey, Mehta shared that becoming a CMO was a goal he wrote down nearly nine years ago during an interview at a previous organisation. “It wasn’t just an answer it was a promise to myself,” he said. Joining Anand Rathi gave him a blank canvas to build a marketing function from scratch, a challenge he says became the “most defining” phase of his career.
Looking back at the Group’s expansion and the listing of two entities during his tenure, Mehta described the appointment as symbolic of years of dedication and teamwork. “This isn’t just about a title,” he wrote. “It represents six years of relentless building, a team I’m fiercely proud of, and a vision that turned into reality.”
He expressed gratitude to leadership for their trust, adding that while a major goal has been achieved, “the hunger remains.”
