PUMA has appointed Thomas John as its new Vice President of People & Organization. Thomas brings nearly 30 years of experience in human resources, having worked in leadership roles across industries like sports, aviation, automotive, and energy. Most recently, he was Senior Vice President of Global Human Resources at Landis+Gyr, where he led HR strategies and transformation projects in over 30 countries. He has also held senior HR positions at KLM, adidas, and Mann+Hummel, focusing on leadership, talent management, organizational development, and creating inclusive, high-performance workplaces.
PUMA CEO Arthur Hoeld said, “Thomas has strong experience in HR strategy and organizational development and understands the challenges of our industry. His expertise will help PUMA improve operations and performance globally.” Thomas will take over from Dietmar Knoess, who has decided to explore new opportunities outside the company.
