Tata Communications has elevated Prabha Singh to the role of Deputy General Manager, with the appointment taking effect in January 2026.
Singh has been part of Tata Communications for more than 13 years, having joined the organisation in 2012. In her most recent position as Senior Manager – Travel and Hospitality, she played a key role in managing the company’s global corporate travel operations. Her responsibilities included vendor partnerships, travel automation initiatives, visa processing, billing oversight and cost-optimisation programmes across business units.
In that role, she led teams handling both outbound and inbound travel requirements, travel insurance and customer service functions. She was also instrumental in introducing automation through tools such as Concur, strengthening compliance with internal travel policies and budgets, and driving efficiencies through MIS reporting, quarterly performance reviews and close coordination with internal stakeholders and external service providers.
Before joining Tata Communications, Singh served as Manager – Travel at Glenmark Pharmaceuticals, where she oversaw corporate travel and MICE operations. Earlier in her career, she worked with HSBC InvestDirect India, managing centralised travel desk functions, and with Carlson Wagonlit Travel, where she handled end-to-end travel and event requirements for corporate clients.
Her elevation to Deputy General Manager reflects Tata Communications’ focus on recognising long-standing internal talent and strengthening leadership across operational functions as the company continues to expand its global footprint.
