Publicis Groupe India has named Sonal Verma as Managing Director of Arc Worldwide India, further strengthening its focus on specialist capabilities that sit at the intersection of brand experience, shopper marketing, and connected commerce. In her new role, Verma will report to Kedar Teny, Chief Product Officer, Publicis Groupe India.

Arc Worldwide, the Groupe’s experiential and shopper marketing arm, is built to navigate the increasing complexity of consumer decision-making. With buying journeys becoming more fluid and non-linear, the agency is designed to help brands influence choice closer to the point of action through behaviour-led design, contextual interventions, and mission-based engagement. Its work spans experiential marketing, shopper solutions, retail design, and one-to-one engagement models crafted to drive consumers from consideration to conversion.

Over the past decade, Arc Worldwide India has delivered a wide range of large-scale, outcome-driven brand experience programmes for Publicis Groupe clients. The agency has executed award-winning experiential initiatives showcased at major industry platforms including the India Mobile Congress, Auto Expo and Lollapalooza.

Verma brings over 25 years of experience in integrated marketing, experiential strategy and consumer engagement. Throughout her career, she has built high-impact brand experience platforms for regional and global brands while shaping integrated frameworks across consumer, retail, and digital touchpoints. As Managing Director, she will be responsible for leading agency operations, elevating experiential and connected commerce offerings, and developing future-ready solutions that deliver measurable business growth.
