Menka Asrani has joined Amazon as Lead – Studio, where she will spearhead branded content initiatives for the OTT platform as part of the Amazon Ads ecosystem.
In her new role, Asrani will operate at the intersection of storytelling, brand partnerships and audience-led content solutions. Her mandate includes building and scaling branded content offerings that help brands engage meaningfully with viewers, while leveraging Amazon’s data, creative capabilities and OTT reach to deliver measurable impact.
Prior to joining Amazon, Asrani was associated with Collective Artists Network, where she served as Head – Brand Solutions for BigBang.Social, leading integrated brand partnerships and creator-led campaigns. Before that, she was Head – Branded Content (Creative), Digital Ventures at Viacom18 Media Private Limited, where she worked closely on JioCinema’s entertainment portfolio, developing branded content formats and collaborations for the streaming platform.
Over the course of her career, Asrani has held leadership roles across some of India’s leading media and entertainment organisations, including ZEE5, Culture Machine Media, The Walt Disney Company, Bloomberg TV India, and DB Corp Ltd.. Across these roles, she has driven brand solutions, content strategy, and intellectual property development across television, digital and OTT platforms.
With her appointment, Amazon strengthens its focus on premium, story-led advertising solutions on OTT, as brands increasingly look to content-driven formats to build deeper connections with audiences at scale.
