WazirX has rolled out a new campaign titled ‘ZERO’, aimed at eliminating trading fees on its platform and making cryptocurrency participation more accessible for Indian investors. By removing transaction costs, the initiative seeks to benefit everyone from high-frequency traders and regular investors to users who are just beginning their crypto journey.

Trading fees account for a significant cost for Indian crypto users, with investors collectively spending thousands of crores every year across exchanges. Through ZERO, WazirX aims to ease this financial burden, encouraging broader adoption and more frequent participation in digital asset trading.

Commenting on the initiative, WazirX founder Nischal Shetty said the move reflects the platform’s long-standing focus on users. “Our belief that the customer is king has shaped everything we build. ZERO is a direct outcome of listening to user feedback and acting in their best interest,” he said.

The campaign was executed in stages, starting with teaser films across social media and in-app channels, followed by a formal announcement through blogs, pop-ups, emailers, and a dedicated video. To further amplify reach, WazirX released a full-page newspaper advertisement that sparked widespread social media sharing. The campaign wrapped up with an interactive social challenge, inviting users to spot and share ‘ZERO’ moments from everyday life, driving strong engagement across platforms.

With ZERO, WazirX reinforces its commitment to lowering entry barriers and reshaping how Indians experience crypto trading.
