Havas has appointed Alberto Canteli as Executive Chairman for Africa, effective September 1, 2025. Alongside his current role leading the Nordics, Benelux, Central & Eastern Europe, and the Middle East, Canteli will drive the Group’s strategy and growth across the African continent.
He will work closely with Provit Chemmani, recently named CEO Africa, to strengthen Havas’ presence and build Africa into a key growth market. With his experience in leading diverse regions and establishing Centers of Excellence globally, Canteli aims to replicate this model in Africa.
Havas CEO Yannick Bolloré highlighted Africa’s creativity and opportunity, while Canteli emphasized the Group’s mission to empower local talent, foster partnerships, and shape sustainable growth in the region.
