Ogilvy has appointed Guillermo Vega as Chief Creative Officer for North America. A globally acclaimed creative leader, Vega will oversee creative strategy and output across Ogilvy’s major clients, including Coca-Cola, Unilever, Verizon, IBM, and Mastercard. He will also continue as Global Creative Network Lead for WPP Open X, the bespoke agency team for The Coca-Cola Company.

Vega will head a new creative studio integrating AI-driven innovation from WPP Open to enhance storytelling and brand creativity. His leadership has been instrumental in award-winning Coca-Cola campaigns such as “It’s Magic When the World Comes Together” and “Recycle Me,” which earned Coca-Cola its first Cannes Lions Grand Prix in a decade.

Previously CCO at Saatchi & Saatchi London, Vega also played key roles at 72andSunny and Wieden+Kennedy São Paulo. His appointment follows the departure of Rafa Rizuto, who is moving on to new opportunities.
