LinkedIn has appointed McCann as its new global creative agency of record, marking another shift in its marketing strategy under CMO Jessica Jensen. The move follows LinkedIn’s media account transition from Dentsu to Publicis Media and R/GA’s appointment for Ads strategy.
McCann, part of IPG (soon to be acquired by Omnicom), will lead brand creative worldwide as the group undergoes restructuring. McCann New York CEO Amber Guild highlighted the opportunity to drive LinkedIn’s growth with impactful ideas.
With an estimated \$250 million global media spend, LinkedIn aims to expand its brand presence beyond professional networking and deepen consumer engagement.
