On the fourth day of the 2025 Cannes Lions International Festival of Creativity, Ogilvy and Dove were awarded the Grand Prix in Creative Strategy – Long-Term Brand Platform for their iconic “Real Beauty” campaign. Ogilvy’s global network also secured 4 Silver and 8 Bronze Lions, bringing its total wins at the Festival to 80.

Spanning over 20 years, the “Real Beauty” campaign, initiated in 2004, was driven by the insight that only 2% of women saw themselves as beautiful. Spearheaded by Ogilvy UK with global support, the campaign has transformed Dove from a soap brand into a $7.5 billion powerhouse, as per Kantar. With memorable campaigns like “Campaign for Real Beauty,” “Evolution,” “Real Beauty Sketches,” “Reverse Selfie,” and “#TurnYourBack,” the partnership has continuously challenged beauty stereotypes and empowered women and girls worldwide.

Zoe Hamilton, Ogilvy’s Global Chief Strategy Officer for Unilever, called the recognition a tribute to two decades of purpose-driven work that not only built a brand and business but also shaped culture and changed lives.
