Worldpanel by Numerator has released the 13th Brand Footprint India report, ranking FMCG brands by Consumer Reach Points (CRPs).

  • Overall: FMCG choices in India grew in 2024 but at a slower pace, mainly due to a food & beverages slowdown. Smaller brands outpaced larger ones in growth.

  • In-home:

    • Top 5: Parle (8,605m CRPs) led, followed by Britannia, Amul, Clinic Plus, and Surf Excel (entering Top 5 for the first time).

    • New Entrant: Haldiram’s broke into the Top 10.

    • Strong growers: Surf Excel, Haldiram’s, Godrej Expert, Balaji (+22%), Everest (+10%), Goodknight (+14%), Wagh Bakri (+19%), and Godrej Expert Crème (+37%).

  • Out-of-home (OOH):

    • Top 5: Britannia (655m) retained the lead, followed by Haldiram’s, Cadbury, Balaji, and Parle.

    • Balaji (+41%) and Amul (+19%) showed standout growth.

  • Insight: India remains more growth-positive than global averages, with smaller and regional brands driving momentum through innovation and rural reach.
