X (formerly Twitter) has slashed subscription prices in India by up to 48% across all tiers, aiming to boost adoption in one of its largest and fastest-growing digital markets. The Premium mobile plan now costs ₹470/month (down from ₹900), while the web version is ₹427/month (down from ₹650). The Basic tier is now available at ₹170/month and ₹1,700/year, offering features like post editing and longer content.

Premium Plus, which includes ad-free browsing and access to Grok 4 AI, has also seen significant reductions — now priced at ₹2,570/month on web and ₹3,000 on mobile. The cuts reflect X’s push, under Elon Musk, to drive monetization and expand its paid user base in price-sensitive regions like India, aligning with its ambition to become an all-in-one digital platform.
