Abhimanyu Khedkar has taken over as Managing Director and Head of Office, Mumbai at Leo Burnett, stepping into a key leadership role at one of the agency’s most important hubs. He shared the update on LinkedIn, marking a new chapter in a career closely intertwined with the Leo Burnett network for over a decade.

Khedkar has been part of Leo Burnett’s leadership team in multiple capacities, most recently serving as Managing Partner, and earlier as Executive Director. Over the years, he has played a central role in strengthening client partnerships, driving business growth, and nurturing talent, giving him a deep understanding of the agency’s culture, operations and ambitions.

Before joining Leo Burnett, Khedkar built a strong foundation across some of India’s leading advertising agencies. His experience includes senior roles at Minority Brand Creation and Management as Brand & Business Director and at BBH India as Brand Partner. He also spent several years at Ogilvy & Mather, where he led the Marico business across multiple roles, including Account Director and Group Account Manager. His early career began at Publicis Ambience.

With extensive experience across brand strategy, account leadership and agency management, Khedkar now takes charge of Leo Burnett Mumbai at a time when the office continues to be a critical growth engine for the network in India. His appointment underscores the agency’s focus on leadership continuity and building on its creative and business momentum in the market.
