IIFL Home Finance, a leading affordable housing finance company and subsidiary of IIFL Finance, has appointed Girish Kousgi as its Managing Director and CEO, effective October 30, 2025. In his new role, Kousgi will oversee the company’s entire business operations, including home loans, MSME loans, and construction finance, as IIFL aims to strengthen its leadership in the affordable housing segment.
With nearly 30 years of experience in banking and financial services, Kousgi has previously served as MD & CEO at PNB Housing Finance and Can Fin Homes, and held senior roles at Tata Capital, IDFC Bank, and ICICI Bank.
Welcoming him, IIFL Group Founder Nirmal Jain said Kousgi’s expertise will help the company expand responsibly and deliver lasting value. Kousgi expressed enthusiasm about driving financial inclusion in the housing sector, emphasizing opportunities created by initiatives like PMAY 2.0 to make home ownership more accessible for aspiring Indians.
