Medanta has appointed Kedar Apte as its Chief Marketing & Growth Officer, as the healthcare group sharpens its focus on brand building and patient experience.

In his new role, Apte will be responsible for strengthening Medanta’s brand and improving the end-to-end patient journey. Commenting on the move, he said that Medanta’s commitment to patient-centric care, compassion, and trusted healthcare strongly aligns with his own values, adding that he aims to make the patient experience more seamless, transparent, and trust-led.

Apte joins Medanta with extensive leadership experience across healthcare-adjacent sectors, mobility, and consumer businesses. Before this, he held senior positions at Mahindra Group, where he worked across EV charging infrastructure, international markets, and business expansion initiatives.

Earlier, he served as Chief Marketing Officer at Jio-bp, where he played a key role in building the mobility brand and transforming fuel retail experiences in India.

He also spent several years at Castrol, leading marketing operations across India and the subcontinent while overseeing regional sales across international markets. During this period, he managed major brand campaigns, category portfolios, and growth initiatives.

Apte began his career at Hindustan Unilever, where he gained early experience across sales, marketing, and regional business management.

With Apte’s appointment, Medanta is expected to further strengthen its focus on consumer-centric growth, patient trust, and brand-led differentiation in India’s healthcare sector.
