Publicis Sapient has appointed Gavin Seewooruttun as Vice President, Data and AI Lead for Australia, a newly created role based in Melbourne. His appointment underscores the company’s focus on AI and data innovation as key drivers of digital business transformation.
Seewooruttun will lead efforts to help clients leverage AI to enhance customer experiences, drive operational efficiency, and unlock new growth opportunities. With over 20 years of experience, he previously served as EY’s Asia-Pacific Consulting Leader for AI and Analytics, and led the launch of the AI-powered startup Advaise.
Angela Robinson, Country MD of Publicis Sapient Australia, highlighted Seewooruttun’s role in accelerating AI capabilities and regional growth. His appointment aligns with the company’s SPEED framework—Strategy, Product, Experience, Engineering, and Data & AI.
He holds degrees from the London School of Economics and the University of Southampton.
