Vadilal Industries Limited has appointed Ravi Makwana as its new Chief Marketing Officer, strengthening its leadership team as the company sharpens its focus on brand-building and growth. Makwana took charge in December 2025 and will lead the company’s overall marketing strategy across categories and markets.

Makwana brings over a decade of experience spanning FMCG, QSR, consumer durables and paints. Prior to joining Vadilal, he served as Category Head at Zydus Wellness, where he handled category leadership responsibilities from Mumbai. Before that, he was Chief Marketing Officer at Tim Hortons India, playing a key role as part of the seed team that led the brand’s entry into the Indian market and oversaw marketing and product strategy during its launch phase.

His earlier career includes a nearly four-year stint at Tata Consumer Products, where he held multiple leadership roles across brand, category and P&L management, working on brands such as Tata Salt and the company’s detergent portfolio. Makwana also spent over six years at Asian Paints, gaining experience across brand management and sales leadership roles, handling product portfolios and market expansion across regions.

Makwana began his professional journey at Accenture as an Associate Software Engineer. His diverse background across industries and functions is expected to support Vadilal Industries as it continues to strengthen its marketing capabilities and brand presence in a competitive consumer landscape.
