WPP has appointed Anne-Isabelle Choueiri as its new Chief Transformation Officer, a newly created role designed to support the company’s three-year growth strategy, Elevate28.
Based in New York, Choueiri will join WPP’s Executive Committee and will be responsible for shaping and embedding the operational changes needed to deliver the company’s long-term growth plan. Her mandate includes driving innovation, improving efficiency, and helping WPP evolve its integrated offering for clients through more agile and outcome-led solutions.
In her new position, Choueiri will work closely with WPP’s product, technology, and enterprise teams to use AI, data, and technology more effectively across the business. She will also partner with the company’s people function to build a more agile and high-performance culture aimed at accelerating transformation and attracting top talent.
Before joining WPP, Choueiri held a senior leadership role at The Estée Lauder Companies, where she led major enterprise-wide transformation initiatives. Her work included helping develop the company’s “One ELC” operating model, redesigning technology teams, and leading AI strategy and implementation across the organisation.
She has also previously worked with firms including Accenture, Kearney and Masaï, and has experience across consulting, digital marketing, and data-led transformation.
Cindy Rose said Choueiri’s experience across operations, technology and culture makes her the right leader to help WPP execute its next phase of transformation and growth.
