Quick commerce platform Zepto has appointed Navdeep Sachdeva as Senior Vice President and Head of Procurement, strengthening its leadership team as the company continues to scale its operations. In his new role, Sachdeva will be responsible for procurement across the supply chain, logistics, technical requirements and marketing, ensuring the business is well supported as it expands.
Sachdeva brings nearly 20 years of experience in procurement, strategic sourcing and commercial operations. He joins Zepto from PhonePe, where he spent close to six years and most recently served as Group Head – Strategic Sourcing, overseeing procurement across marketing, IT, facilities, HR and call centre operations.
Before PhonePe, Sachdeva held senior roles at Flipkart, including Director – Commercials, with a focus on services procurement. He also spent over nine years at Bharti Airtel, managing pan-India procurement across multiple functions such as IT projects, facilities, HR and insurance. He began his career at EXL Services India, working in insurance operations.
Announcing the move on LinkedIn, Sachdeva said he was excited to join Zepto and highlighted the company’s long-term vision for quick commerce and its focus on building at scale. He added that he looks forward to collaborating with the team and contributing to Zepto’s next phase of growth.
