Gurugram, 01 October, 2025 — MakeMyTrip, India’s leading online travel company, has once again taken a playful route to spotlight the pain points Indian travellers often face in its latest digital campaign. The “Villian Mat Bano” campaign highlights challenges encountered while travelling abroad, such as the need for early hotel check in, last minute date changes on international flights, financial implications in case of visa rejections, or the search for Indian preferred hotels, and draws attention to MakeMyTrip’s user centric solutions that address these concerns.

To bring this to life, the travel platform has roped in veteran Bollywood actors Gulshan Grover, Dalip Tahil and Mukesh Rishi, celebrated for their iconic villainous roles, to depict these issues and, importantly, the fixes that MakeMyTrip provides. The five-film digital campaign goes live today.

Raj Rishi Singh, Chief Marketing Officer & Chief Business Officer – Corporate, Flights, GCC, MakeMyTrip, said, International travel can sometimes feel overwhelming, with unexpected situations cropping up at the worst possible times. Through this campaign, we wanted to show travellers that MakeMyTrip has thought about these challenges and built solutions to make their journeys smoother. The villains dramatize the situations in a way that makes them instantly relatable, while we highlight how MakeMyTrip can help resolve them.”

The campaign was conceptualized and executed by Restless at MagicCircle.
