The Indian Express Group has appointed Deepshikha Ghosh as Chief Content Officer, Digital, effective March 24, 2026.

Ghosh joins after a two-decade stint at NDTV, where she most recently served as Managing Editor at NDTV Convergence. Her move signals The Indian Express Group’s focus on strengthening its digital-first editorial strategy and expanding audience engagement across its online platforms.

In her new role, Ghosh will oversee content strategy, digital journalism, and audience growth across the group’s digital ecosystem. She brings deep expertise in politics, governance, and legal policy, backed by nearly 20 years of experience in digital journalism.

Over the course of her career, Ghosh has covered and anchored several major national stories, including landmark Supreme Court rulings and key political and geopolitical developments. A journalism graduate from Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University, she is known for combining strong editorial judgment with data-led audience insights.
