Spotify has appointed Waralika Prasad as Strategy & Operations Manager for the SAMEA region, covering South Asia, the Middle East, Africa and Turkey.

In her new role, Prasad will support Spotify’s strategic initiatives and operational priorities across multiple markets, helping drive the company’s business growth and regional expansion.

Announcing the move on LinkedIn, Prasad expressed her excitement about working across a diverse set of markets and highlighted the opportunity to learn and contribute in a dynamic regional role. She also thanked her mentors, colleagues and everyone who supported her throughout her professional journey.

Before joining Spotify, Prasad was part of Accenture Strategy & Consulting, where she worked in Strategy and AI Consulting, focusing on consumer product strategy. During her tenure, she advised clients on business strategy, operations and technology-led transformation, particularly within the consumer products sector.

Her appointment comes as Spotify continues to strengthen its presence across the SAMEA region by expanding its offerings and deepening engagement with artists, creators and listeners. With experience spanning strategy, operations and AI-led transformation, Prasad is expected to play a key role in supporting Spotify’s growth across one of its most diverse and rapidly evolving markets.
