Subway has appointed Publicis’ Leo New York as its new lead creative agency in the U.S. after a competitive review, replacing incumbent Dentsu. The shift aims to drive a “new guest-centric creative strategy” to strengthen Subway’s market position. Dentsu, which had an eight-year partnership with Subway, will continue to support various marketing efforts. The media review, also handled by Dentsu, is expected to wrap up by Q2, with Dentsu defending the account. This change follows Subway’s 2017 consolidation of media and creative duties under Dentsu.
