WPP was named Creative Company of the Year at the 2025 Cannes Lions International Festival of Creativity, recognising the outstanding creative work across its agencies. WPP won a total of 168 Lions, including a Titanium Lion, 10 Grand Prix, 23 Gold, 53 Silver, and 81 Bronze.

Notable wins included:

  • Ogilvy’s Vaseline Verified (Unilever): Singapore’s first Titanium Lion and two Grand Prix.
  • Mindshare’s Real Beauty Redefined (Dove): Grand Prix in Media, celebrating inclusive AI applications.
  • DAVID’s Haaland Payback Time (Supercell): Grand Prix in Entertainment Lions for Sport.
  • VML’s Preserved Promos (Ziploc): Grand Prix for Creative Commerce.
  • AKQA’s Sounds Right (UN Live & Spotify): Grand Prix for Innovation.
  • VML/OpenMind’s KitKat Phone Break: First Grand Prix win for the Czech Republic.
  • Ogilvy’s Make Love Last (Viatris): Grand Prix for Pharma.

WPP’s agencies also ranked high individually — Mindshare led Media Network points, while Ogilvy and VML featured among the top four Creative Networks.

CEO Mark Read called it a proud moment in his final Cannes as CEO, and CCO Rob Reilly highlighted how WPP is using AI to elevate, not replace, authentic creativity.
