Meta has promoted Benjamin Joe to Regional Vice President for the Asia-Pacific (APAC) region, succeeding Dan Neary. Previously VP of Southeast Asia and emerging markets, Joe has been with Meta since 2011, serving in various leadership roles across the U.S., Korea, and Southeast Asia. Before Meta, he worked at McKinsey & Company and IBM.

In a note, Joe expressed his commitment to fostering innovation and growth in the vibrant and diverse APAC region. Neary praised Joe’s leadership skills, regional expertise, and ability to build high-performing teams.

Following Joe’s promotion, Sandhya Devanathan, currently VP for Meta India, will take on additional responsibility for Southeast Asia.

Neary, whose career spans roles at Kellogg, eBay, and Skype, led Skype’s global market development through major corporate transitions, including its acquisition by Microsoft.
