Amazon reported a strong Q3 with revenue up 13% year-on-year to $180.2 billion, driven by broad-based growth across its businesses. Advertising led the surge, jumping 24% to $17.7 billion amid new partnerships with Netflix, Spotify, and SiriusXM. AWS revenue rose 20% to $33 billion, marking its fastest growth since 2022, fueled by AI-driven demand.
Online stores grew 10%, third-party seller services 12%, and Prime and subscription services 11%. Despite $4.3 billion in FTC and severance-related charges, operating income stayed flat at $17.4 billion, while net income climbed to $21.2 billion from $15.3 billion a year ago.
By region, North America sales rose 11% and international 14%. Amazon forecasts Q4 sales of $206–213 billion, up 10–13% year-on-year, as its advertising, cloud, and e-commerce engines continue to drive momentum.
