The BCCI has invited bids for a new lead sponsor of Team India after Dream11 ended its ₹358 crore deal, following India’s ban on real-money gaming under the new Online Gaming Bill, 2025.
Interested sponsors must buy the Expression of Interest documents for ₹5 lakh (plus GST) and meet strict eligibility norms, including a minimum turnover or net worth of ₹300 crore over the past three years. Companies linked to online gaming, betting, gambling, or crypto businesses are barred from bidding.
This marks the end of Dream11’s tenure as lead sponsor, signed in 2023, and opens the door for a new brand to partner with Indian cricket.
