Crompton Greaves Consumer Electricals has appointed Sundaram Damodarannair as Chairman of the Board (Non-Executive, Non-Independent Director), effective September 18, 2025.
With over four decades of experience in finance, operations, and governance, Damodarannair previously held senior roles at Hindustan Unilever, including CFO and Vice Chairman, and has worked with Unilever globally. He also serves on the boards of Infosys, Zurich Kotak General Insurance, and Credila Financial Services, besides contributing to academic institutions like KREA University.
At Crompton, he will join key board committees and lead the Stakeholders’ Relationship Committee. His term will run until April 2028 or until he turns 75, subject to shareholder approval.
