JioStar, Reliance Industries’ media and entertainment arm, posted its best-ever quarterly results in Q2 FY26, with revenue of ₹7,232 crore and profit doubling to ₹1,322 crore. EBITDA rose to ₹1,738 crore with a 28.1% margin.

Growth was driven by record sports and entertainment viewership — the India–England Anderson-Tendulkar Trophy became the most-watched Test series online, and JioHotstar hit 400 million MAUs. On TV, JioStar reached 830 million viewers with a 34.5% viewership share.

Hit titles like Special Ops 2, Sarzameen, and Heart Beat 2 boosted digital engagement, while Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi 2 and Bigg Boss led entertainment viewership. Sports properties including Wimbledon, the US Open, and the ICC Women’s World Cup also delivered strong growth.

With its integrated digital–broadcast strategy and industry-leading margins, JioStar has cemented its position as a dominant force in India’s entertainment landscape.
