NDTV has raised ₹396.49 crore through an oversubscribed Rights Issue (1.11x), increasing its equity share capital from 6.45 crore to 11.28 crore shares. Promoter holding rose to 69.02%, while public shareholding stands at 30.98%. The funds will support NDTV’s expansion in India and abroad, brand-building, debt reduction, and digital growth initiatives. CEO Rahul Kanwal said the oversubscription reflects investor confidence in NDTV’s vision and commitment to strengthening its platforms and global reach. SBI Capital Markets advised the issue, with Cyril Amarchand Mangaldas as legal counsel and Kfin Technologies as registrar.
