Samsung Electronics has signed a definitive agreement to acquire Xealth, a leading healthcare integration platform, in a strategic move to strengthen its connected care offerings. Xealth integrates digital health tools into a single interface used by over 500 U.S. hospitals, including Advocate Health and Banner Health.

The acquisition aims to bridge the gap between personal wellness devices and clinical systems, leveraging Samsung’s wearable tech and Xealth’s platform to enable real-time patient monitoring and personalized care. Leaders from both companies emphasized their shared vision of making healthcare more connected, seamless, and patient-centric.

Expected to close in 2025, the deal aligns with Samsung’s long-term goal of enabling “care at home” and expanding its role in the healthcare ecosystem.
