Chitale Bandhu Mithaiwale has appointed Yogesh Shinde as its new Chief Marketing Officer. With over 70 years of legacy, Chitale Bandhu is one of Maharashtra’s most trusted brands, known for its iconic Bakarwadi, snacks, and traditional mithai. The company currently records a turnover of ₹700 crore, with the total Chitale Group reaching ₹2,300 crore.
In his new role, Yogesh will focus on transforming Chitale Bandhu into a strong national brand by expanding into new markets, e-commerce, modern trade, exports, and new product categories all while preserving the brand’s heritage of quality and authenticity.
Yogesh previously served as Senior Vice President–Marketing at Wagh Bakri Tea Group for 16 years, where he helped scale the company from ₹350 crore in 2010 to ₹2,700 crore in 2025 and contributed to creating a widespread retail and café presence with over 55 tea lounges across India.
