Dentsu has appointed Rohit Potphode as Managing Partner – Sports, Gaming, Esports, and Live Experiences to lead its Sports and Entertainment practice in India. Reporting to Yosuke Murai, Potphode will drive strategies connecting brands with audiences through sports, esports, music, festivals, and live events.

With over 20 years of experience across marquee properties like the IPL, ISL, Coke Studio, and Lakmé Fashion Week, Potphode will oversee sports consulting, sponsorships, IP development, content, and fan-first experiences. His role aims to help brands achieve deeper cultural relevance and measurable impact.

Harsha Razdan, CEO South Asia, and Murai highlighted that Potphode’s expertise will harness India’s dynamic sports and entertainment landscape, blending dentsu’s global knowledge with local culture to create innovative, engaging experiences.
