Omnicom Media Group India has appointed Siddhant Mazumdar as its new Chief Content Officer, further strengthening the company’s focus on content-led brand storytelling and integrated media solutions.

The appointment was recently updated on Mazumdar’s LinkedIn profile, with him assuming the role this month.

Prior to joining Omnicom Media India in this capacity, Mazumdar served as Head of Mediabrands Content Studio India, where he spent close to five years leading branded content, partnerships and creative strategy initiatives across multiple clients and platforms.

Over the years, he has built extensive experience across content strategy, digital storytelling, branded entertainment and media innovation. Before his stint at Mediabrands, Mazumdar was associated with WiseApe, formerly known as The Digital Street, where he served as Chief Operating Officer and played a key role in scaling the agency’s digital and creative capabilities.

His professional journey also includes experience with leading media and digital companies such as VICE Media and Interactive Avenues, giving him a strong understanding of content, audience engagement and digital-first communication strategies.

With this appointment, Omnicom Media India is expected to further strengthen its content ecosystem and integrated storytelling capabilities as brands continue to invest heavily in digital content and consumer engagement initiatives.
