ShareChat Ltd., India’s largest homegrown social media company, has appointed Neha Markanda as its Chief Business Officer for ShareChat and Moj. She will lead revenue strategy, business growth, and partnerships across the platforms. With over 22 years of experience, Neha joins from Google India where she headed E-commerce strategy and previously held senior roles at Meta, GSK Consumer Healthcare, PepsiCo, ITC, and HCL Technologies.
Her appointment comes as ShareChat, with over 325 million monthly active users, recently turned profitable and targets a ₹1,200 crore revenue run rate this year. CEO Ankush Sachdeva highlighted her expertise in brand building, revenue growth, and client relationships as key to strengthening the company’s market leadership. Neha expressed excitement about driving business growth, enhancing advertiser engagement, and furthering ShareChat’s mission of empowering local creators and deepening cultural connections across India.
