Nestlé has announced that Sanjay Bahadur, executive vice president and head of group strategy and business development, will retire at the end of December 2025. Over his four-decade tenure, Bahadur held key leadership roles across India, Switzerland, Hong Kong, Türkiye and China, driving the company’s strategic agenda, including portfolio management, M&A, venture investments and external partnerships.
CEO Philipp Navratil praised Bahadur’s “uncompromising integrity and humble leadership,” crediting him for fostering trust and cross-functional collaboration throughout the organisation.
Following his departure, Nestlé’s mergers and acquisitions responsibilities will move under CFO Anna Manz.
