Burson has named HS Chung as its new CEO for Asia-Pacific, expanding her remit from North Asia-Pacific to the entire region, including Australia, New Zealand, India, Southeast Asia and more. Based in Seoul, her new role becomes effective December 1, 2025.
Corey duBrowa, Global CEO of Burson, praised Chung’s blend of strategic insight, operational strength and deep regional understanding. Chung has extensive experience advising the C-suites of global leaders in sectors such as food & beverage, electronics, personal care, automotive and healthcare. She has also led communications initiatives for the Korean government, including major projects like the Olympics.
Chung, who previously founded Synergy Communications and later served as President, Asia for Hill & Knowlton, said she is focused on sustaining Burson’s momentum through disciplined execution and leveraging AI and talent to help clients navigate increasing complexity.
Her appointment follows the departure of Adrian Warr, who led South Asia-Pacific and will return to the UK.
