Omnicom Advertising has announced a new leadership structure for India, appointing Prasoon Joshi as Chairman and Aditya Kanthy as President and Managing Director. Both leaders will report to Sean Donovan, President, Omnicom Advertising Asia.

S. Subramanyeswar (Subbu) has been elevated to Chief Strategy Officer, OA India, and Chief Knowledge Officer, OA Asia.

Agency leadership has also been realigned:

  • McCann India: Led by Dheeraj Sinha and Rahul Mathew

  • BBDO India: Continued leadership under Josy Paul, with an updated team to be revealed

  • TBWA\Lintas: Govind Pandey and Prateek Bhardwaj will co-lead as a merged entity

In digital and experience, Kinnect and 22feet Tribal will combine under Chandni Shah as CEO, while Rohan Mehta will focus on digital integration and capability building across the group.

All agency CEOs will report to Kanthy, with Joshi supporting in his Chairman role. The new structure takes effect January 1, 2026.

Sean Donovan, in a note to employees, said the reorganisation reflects India’s scale and strong agency ecosystem, aiming to balance continuity while unlocking growth and new opportunities. Globally, Omnicom Advertising will now operate through three networks – McCann, BBDO and TBWA – strengthened by the equities of Lintas, Ulka and Mudra.
