DB Corp reported total revenue of ₹5,872 million for Q1FY26, down 4.7% YoY, mainly due to the high base effect from last year’s general elections. Advertising revenue fell 7% YoY to ₹3,978 million; however, adjusted for election impact, it showed healthy single-digit growth.
Key highlights include an 800 bps QoQ rise in Print EBITDA margins to 31%, driven by soft newsprint prices and cost efficiency. Digital continued its strong momentum with 22 million MAUs, making Dainik Bhaskar India’s top Hindi and Gujarati news app. Circulation revenue rose 1% YoY, and radio arm MY FM grew ad revenue by 1.2%, backed by new content innovations. DB Corp remains confident of sustained growth, supported by economic tailwinds and its expanding “phygital” presence.
