Netflix has secured exclusive rights to stream the 2026 World Baseball Classic in Japan, making it the platform’s first live sports broadcast in the country. All 47 games will be available live and on-demand at no additional cost to subscribers, starting March 5–6, 2026. The tournament will feature 20 teams competing across Tokyo, San Juan, Houston, and Miami, with Japan entering as the defending champion after its 2023 victory.

For Japanese fans, it offers unprecedented access to the world’s top baseball talent across devices, strengthening both the tournament’s global reach and Netflix’s presence in sports entertainment.
