WPP Media has appointed Radhika Subberwal Sidhu as Senior Vice President – Strategy, effective November 2026. With over two decades of experience in the media and advertising industry, Sidhu joins the organisation in a senior strategic leadership role, bringing extensive experience across media planning, communication strategy and client management.
Sidhu announced her new role through a LinkedIn update, writing, “I’m happy to share that I’m starting a new position as Senior Vice President at WPP Media!” Her appointment marks a new chapter in her career following her recent tenure at Starcom India, where she served as Executive Vice President – Strategy.
Before joining WPP Media, Sidhu held several strategic leadership positions during her career, including a stint of more than 16 years with IPG Mediabrands across Initiative Media and Lintas Media. During this period, she served as Client Strategy Lead and led media and communication strategies for several prominent brands, including ITC, Air India, Urban Company, Info Edge and RSPL. Her experience involved working across diverse categories and developing media approaches aligned with brand and business objectives.
Sidhu also brings significant experience from GroupM’s Mindshare, where she progressed from Senior Manager to Strategy Lead. During her tenure, she worked on data-informed media strategies for brands such as United Breweries, Lifestyle, IBM and American Express. This experience further strengthened her expertise in strategic planning, media effectiveness and managing large-scale brand mandates.
She began her professional journey with Starcom India as a Media Executive, where she developed her foundational expertise in media planning and buying. Her return to the wider Starcom network later in her career as Executive Vice President – Strategy reflects her long-standing association with the media agency ecosystem.
With experience spanning leading media networks and a diverse portfolio of clients, Sidhu brings a combination of strategic planning, account leadership and industry knowledge to her new position at WPP Media. Her appointment adds to the organisation’s senior strategy leadership as the media landscape continues to evolve.
