PepsiCo India, in partnership with The Social Lab (TSL), has expanded its plastic circularity initiative, Tidy Trails, to New Delhi’s Chandni Chowk and Pune’s FC College Road, while also strengthening efforts in Agra and Guwahati. The community-driven program focuses on plastic waste collection, segregation, and recycling.
Aimed at promoting sustainable urban living, the initiative involves local communities and administrations to drive behavioral change. Special mobile vans collect plastic waste, which is then repurposed into useful public items like benches and chairs.
Since launch, Tidy Trails has collected over 68,000 kg of plastic waste and reached more than 1.9 lakh people. With daily collection operations and ongoing community engagement, the initiative showcases how collaboration can advance environmental sustainability.
