Carrefour India has named Amritraj Kaur as its new Head of Marketing, bringing on board a seasoned leader with deep expertise in omnichannel strategies, loyalty programs, and digital-first initiatives across the retail and FMCG sectors.

Before joining Carrefour India, Kaur was Chief Business Officer at BnC Foods Pvt. Ltd. and has held senior positions at LOTS Wholesale Solutions, Walmart, Flipkart Wholesale, Future Group, Amira Foods, and Spencer’s Retail. Her career spans brand development, customer engagement, marketing automation, digital transformation, and retail expansion.

During her tenure at LOTS Wholesale Solutions, she spearheaded the rollout of the company’s first two-tier loyalty programme, implemented WebEngage-powered marketing automation, and led digital campaigns and strategic partnerships that helped drive more than 20% growth in sales. She has also overseen multi-format retail marketing, integrated ATL and BTL campaigns, and large-scale customer experience programmes.

According to Carrefour India, Kaur’s appointment supports the company’s ambition to deepen customer relationships, accelerate growth through digital and omnichannel channels, and strengthen its brand positioning in the Indian market.

Commenting on her new role, Kaur said she was eager to embark on the next phase of her journey with Carrefour India, citing the company’s strong global heritage and customer-focused approach as a powerful foundation for meaningful impact.

Effective December 2025, Kaur will be based in Gurugram and will lead marketing strategy across Carrefour India’s operations.
