Hindustan Unilever Limited (HUL) has appointed Koteshwar LN as the Chief Executive Officer of its wholly owned nutrition and plant-based wellness brand, Oziva, according to industry sources.
Koteshwar succeeds Oziva co-founder Mihir Gadani, who will move into an advisory role following the leadership transition.
The appointment comes as HUL looks to strengthen its presence in the premium health, protein and functional nutrition segments, with Oziva playing a key role in the company’s wellness portfolio.
The leadership change follows HUL’s complete acquisition of the brand. The FMCG major first acquired a 51% stake in Oziva in December 2022 before increasing its holding to 100% in 2025, making the company a wholly owned subsidiary.
With Koteshwar at the helm, HUL is expected to focus on accelerating Oziva’s growth and expanding its footprint in India’s fast-growing nutrition and plant-based wellness market.
