In a bid to stand out in the crowded smartphone market, India-based mixed reality firm Flam has teamed up with Nothing Phones to launch a first-of-its-kind print-to-AR campaign in the UAE.
On August 6, 2025, Khaleej Times readers experienced an interactive ad for the Nothing Phone (3) featuring a QR code that unlocked an immersive mixed reality experience. Powered by Flam’s proprietary technology, the phone appeared to leap off the page with sleek animations showcasing its transparent design.
The activation highlighted both the design ethos of the Nothing Phone (3) and Flam’s mission to make mixed reality mainstream by transforming everyday media into interactive storytelling. The project was brought to life by Flam’s creative and technical team, including Creative Director Tejas Phansekar and key designers, animators, and marketing leads.
