Riya Suri has joined Samsung India as Chief Marketing Manager, beginning a new phase in her professional journey after nearly four years with vivo. In her new role, she will focus on digital marketing initiatives, with particular emphasis on smartphone launches and brand-building efforts across platforms.
At Samsung, Riya will oversee end-to-end campaign execution, translating product innovation and technology strengths into clear, consumer-facing narratives. Her responsibilities include working closely with agencies and internal teams, driving consistency across campaigns, and using performance insights to optimise marketing outcomes.
Prior to this, Riya spent over three years at vivo, where she rose from Assistant Manager to Manager. During her tenure, she handled product PR for vivo India, managed crisis communications, collaborated with consumer insights teams, and built relationships with more than 300 tech media and key opinion leaders. She also played a key role in integrated product marketing campaigns across portfolios.
Earlier in her career, Riya was associated with Cheil India for more than three and a half years, most recently as Account Supervisor and Influencer Marketing Lead. There, she worked across digital performance marketing, influencer programmes, content strategy, and media, including contributing to long-term initiatives like the Samsung Galaxy Creators Program. Her combined agency and brand-side experience positions her well to drive Samsung India’s digital and launch-focused marketing agenda.
