Omnicom Media Group has appointed Anthony Palathingal as General Manager, strengthening its leadership team as it continues to expand its capabilities across media planning, investments and client partnerships.
Palathingal announced the move via LinkedIn, marking a new chapter in his career after an extensive tenure with WPP Media. Over the course of eight years, he worked across multiple roles and business units, gaining significant experience in media strategy, investment and client servicing.
During his time at WPP Media, he was associated with Wavemaker formerly Maxus/Wavemaker and later with Matrix, contributing to a wide range of client mandates. Most recently, he served as Business Director, where he was responsible for managing client relationships, driving campaign strategies and overseeing media investments. Prior to that, he held the role of Associate Investment Director at Wavemaker, focusing on media buying, planning efficiencies and delivering optimal value for clients.
